Kiley. Miss Susan Latham was an over night guest Monday of Miss Betsy Williams at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. John H. Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Haynes and family attended the graduation of Betty Jane Whitmer from Highland Spring High School near Richmond on June 7. James R. Whitmer accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Harvey R. Whitmerandfamily of Sandston to Strasburg Sunday when they visited David R. Whitmer, his grandfather. Betty Whitmer is spending this week with her mother Mrs Charles T. Haynes. Mrs. A. C. Latham left Wednesday to spend a few days with the Rev. and Mrs. Harold Carder and daughters in Richmond. She was accompanied by Mrs. Norvel James who will visit Mr. and Mrs. John. James at Midlothian. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Arnold of Culpeper were guests at a picnic with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jenkins of Viewtown Sab urday. In the evening they visited Mr. and Mrs. Charles May and family. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Poling "and daugtSte&jCbwpyl setbxned, Friday after Spending a week in Massachusetts. While there they visited Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schoen in Lynnfield: in addition to touring Boston,; Cambridge and other points. Polly Crossman of Rapidani arrived Saturday at thePoling; home and is spending some time with Cheryl and her parents. Miss Doris Burroughs will return home today after atrip to San Francisco, Calif, which was an award of the F.B.L.A. competition in high school.
