Praise Marsh Effort
Three national veterans organizations have praised 7th District Congressman John 0. Marsh Jr. for his efforts in behalf of veterans programs during the 90th Congress.
Letters of appreciation have been received by the Representative from the heads of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and Veterans of World War One of the U.S.A. Inc.
A “National Commander’s Award” citation also has been presented to Congressman Marsh by the First World War veterans organization.
In a letter of thanks to Rep. Marsh, Richard Homan, commander-in- chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars said. “You have the highest commendation of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for your outstanding service as a member of the House Committee on Appropriations.”
Homan said his organization is deeply appreciative of Congressman Marsh’s efforts in helping to have favorably considered and passed by the 90th Congress a record amount of veterans legislation.
