Rappahannock School Buildings
Pursuant to certain decrees of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, on the 7th day of June, 1968, in Chancery Cause No. 2530 and on the 25th day of June, 1968, in Chancery Cause No. 2533, both in accordance with Title 22, Section 161 and Title 151, Section 262 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, the Rappahannock County School Board will offer for sale at public auction to the highest bidder, on—
Saturday, October 26, 1968
At: 11:00 A.M (D.S.T.) at the front door of the Washington Elementary School, Washington, Rappahannock County, Virginia, the following school properties located in said county, to-wit:
1. Washington Graded School, located in Washington, Virginia, containing two (2) acres, more or less, with town water access, building consisting of two large classrooms, auxiliary room, and two half-baths, building can easily be converted to comfortable home; and
2. Amissville Graded School, located on State Route No. 637, near Amissville, Rappahannock County, Virginia, consisting of a two (2) aero tract, more or less, building consisting of two large classrooms, large closr ets, two half-baths, good well and sewer system, hardwood floors, building would mnk<4 comfortable home in rural setting.
Reference is hereby made to said Chancery Cause Nos. 2530 and 2533 found in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, and the deeds, plats and surveys mentioned therein and recorded in said Clerk’s Office for further description and particulars on the aforesaid school properties.
The sale of both properties will be in gross and not by the acre. Terms of Sale: Cash on the day of sale for each property sold to the highest bidder, subject to the final approval by th$ Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia.
