Rain Reschedules
Horse Show to 26th
The Amissville Ruritan horse show was cancelled because of rain Saturday, and it has been re-scheduled for Saturday, October 26 beginning at 9 a.m. The show grounds are located on Route 211 a mile west of Amissville.
All entries will be taken at the entry booth the day of the horse show. There will be 27 classes scheduled, however, any class having four entries or under may be cancelled or combined with another class. Four ribbons will be awarded in each class, along with prize money as listed in the program.
There will be five championships: small pony, large pony, English horse, Western timed events and Western working events. Championship classes will have a trophy and ribbon. Reserve championship classes will have ribbons only.
Lunch will be available at a food stand on the show grounds and there will be pony rides for youngsters. Admission for adults is $1.00 and children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
