Surviving Mr. Woodard is his wife, Mrs. Bessie Alther Woodard and one son, Hubert Wilson Woodard of Sperryville; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Griffith of Luray and Mrs. Edward Woodward of Norfolk; one brother, Jett Woodard of Washington, Va. and two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Leake and Mrs. Thomas Leake, both of Sperryville.
A funeral service was held October 12 at the Sperryville Methodist Church with the Rev. Edward Pruitt officiating. Interment was in Sperryville Cemetery.
