Buys Building
Culpeper Farmers’ Cooperative, the parent plant of Rappahannock Farmers Co-op, has purchased the building in which the local store is presently housed. The building was purchased from Rappahannock Co-op Fruit Growers, Inc. and is located in Sperryville.
According to J. E. Cornett, plans are being made to remodel the store, improve the lighting and heating, and enlarge the display area. The parking area will also be enlarged.
In addition to the present line of merchandise, which includes, seeds, feeds, fertilizers, I appliances, orchard material and many others, a large inventory of building materials will be stocked and sold at the Rappahannock Farmers’ Co-op.
