Mrs. Mary Cleverley attended the Gift Show Sunday at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Washington, D. C. She also visited Mrs. Henry T. Miller there and was the overnight guest of her. son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Warren McConchie in Arlington.
Mrs. John Eubank, Jr. of Sperryville was the weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster.
The W. S. C. S. met Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Paul Miller. The program was a study class from the Book of John entitled “Coming to Life” conducted by Mrs. W. A. Gentry. Others present were Mrs. Edward E. Clark, Mrs. Douglas Bywaters, Mrs. Michael Vest, Mrs. Edward Pruitt, Mrs. Carson Lillard, Mrs. Emory Russell and Mrs. L. B. Burford.
Mr. and Mrs. James Turman and daughter Melinda of Front Royal were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest. Mr. and Mrs. Vest’s daughter Miss Renee Vest entered Winchester Memorial Hospital on Monday for minor leg surgery.
