Thornhill
George William Thornhill of Slate Mills died Monday, January 27, 1969 at his residence. He was 84, the son of the late Corrella Hudson and D. W. Thornhill. He was a member of Fairfax Masonic Lodge No. 43, AF and AM.
A funeral service was held yesterday at Clore Funeral Home, Culpeper with the Rev. Dott Bryan officiating. Interment was in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Audrey Norris Thornhill of Slate Mills; a step-daughter, Mrs. Thomas Perrio of New Jersey; two brothers, Otis Thornhill, Sr. of Culpeper^ and Dr. R. F. Thornhill of Pulaski; a sister, Mrs. T. S. Kilby of Boston, Va.
