Dr. and Mrs. John Turner of Chapel Hill, N. C. were overnight guests Friday of Dr. Turner’s mother Mrs. L. J. Turner. On Saturday they left for Stowe, Vt. for skiing. Also on the ski trip were Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr. of Culpeper and Lt. and Mrs. R. V. Snead of Ft. Bragg, N. C.

Ray V. Snead, HI is a guest of Ms grandparents Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead at Fairiea while his parents Lt. and Mrs. Snead are in Vermont.

Mrs. F. Downing Wood left Saturday by plane to visit her sons-in-law and daughters Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith in Albany, Ga. and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hall at Camilla, Ga. On Sunday she was present at the christening of her two granddaughters Rachael and Angela Smith. Mrs. Wood was accompanied to the National Airport by Miss Mary Miller Wood and Mrs. Earl Edmonds.

Mrs. C. B. Palmer spent the week-end and several days this week as the guest of Mrs. Leo Bliley in Virginia Beach. Mrs. Palmer’s son David Palmer left the NAS at Oceana this week for a six weeks shakedown cruisee on the US Saratoga in the Caribbean.

Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst of Richmond were overnight guests Friday of Mrs. L. J. Turner. *

Miss Segar Jones and two classmates from Westhampton and Ned Moffett Jones of V. P. I. spent the week-end with their parents Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones at Delamore.

Saturday night dinner guests of Mrs. L. J. Turner were the E. M. Jones family and their houseguests, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea.

Mrs. William Curtis spent the week-end with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. David Collins at New Carrollton, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vaughan of Stafford were weekend guests of Mrs. Vaughan’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke at their home on Blue Ridge Avenue. Miss Nancy Buntin and Mjss Bonnie Hughes of V.C.U., Richmond were the week-end guests of Miss Buntin’s parents Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin.
