Mrs. Alice Dorsey,
Mrs. Iris Brooke returned to the home of her son-in-law and daughter Lt. Col. and Mrs. Norman Wilbur, February 18 after spending more than six months visiting friends and relatives in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona, Tennessee, Kentucky and Louisiana. Mrs. Brooke spent the weekend in Rapidan visiting her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Johnson and family.
Pvt. Dale Hensley has completed basic training at the U. S. Marine Corp Base, Parris Island, S.C., and is now stationed at Camp LeJeune, N. C. He will arrive at his home with Mr. and Mrs. Russell Settle on March 20.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier were their grandchildren Miss Patty Faye Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Moats of Alexandria. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Sol Schneider, son Joe Knieff and Mark Hoff, all of Silver Spring, Md.
