Mrs. James H. Falls ol Woodville was honored at a surprise baby shower at the home of Mrs. B. H. Hitt on Saturday evening, March 1. Assisting Mrs. Hitt were Mrs. H. B. Wood and Mrs. Emory Conners. About twenty friends were present for the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Falls are awaiting the adoption of a new baby.
The J. M. O’Bannon family is moving this week from “Clover Hill” to the home of Mrs. R. L. Rusasill. Bobbie O’Bannon is with his parents on a ten-day leave from Camp LeJeune, N.C.
Observance of the Week of Prayer for Home Missions was held with Mrs. Raymond Johnson on Wednesday.

Mrsa J. R. Devers spent Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Devers and family in Front Royal. Dr. A. W. Kagey of Roanokel spent Sunday with his aunt, Miss Barbara Swindler. Mrs. Charles Battaglia and son Angie left from National Airport on Sunday for their home in Howard Beach, N.Y. after spending several weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Cindy Cumins spent the weekend with Charla Ann Sisk and Chucky Sisk was a guest of Doug Cumins.
