SSgt. Daniel Clater who has been spending several weeks with his brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clater, will return March 20 to his assignment in Vietnam. He was called home by the death of his mother, Mrs. Jesse Clater of Sperryville. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Giles of Warrenton were dinner guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and son at Locust Shade Farm. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Downey and children of Manassas were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Paul St. Clair and daughters. Dorothy Fischer of Sperryville was a weekend guest of Jeanne St. Clair.
Jennifer Carder of Culpeper was a weekend guest of her grandmother Mrs. A. C. Latham returning home Sunday with her parents the Rev. and Mrs. Harold Carder.
Mrs. Norvel James has returned to her home after being a patient in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
Guests last Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley and Mrs. J. L. Walter were Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Walter and children Lisa and Susan of Paducah, Ky. Their visitors Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lee Clore and children of Brightwood. Mrs. Julia Curtis who has been spending some time in Silver Spring, Md. was a weekend visitor of the Rileys and Mrs. Walter.
