Groves Enters Plea Second Degree Murder
Walter Clifford Groves, charged with the fatal shooting of Thomas Haines, several months ago entered a plea of guilty to second degree murder in Rappahannock County Circuit Court Tuesday morning. A pre-sentencing report will be made at the January term of circuit court which opens on the 11th.
Christmas Play
The Christmas play “Why the Chimes Rang” will be presented at the Sperryville United Methodist Church on Sunday evening, December 20, at 7:30 p.m.

"Back To Nursing" Refresher Course
“Back to Nursing”, a refresher course designed to familiarize the “Inactive” Registered Nurse with current patient care and techniques will be offered by Culpeper Memorial Hospital during the month of January, 1971.
