In Memoriam A tribute of love and devotion to the memory of our precious mother Mary E. Cloud who left us one year ago, December 10, 1969. The month of December once more is here For us the saddest of the entire year. For just one year ago today on a Wednesday Y ou left without saying goodbye. Then came that fateful Saturday when we stood at the open grave And watched them bury you, mother, who we loved so, but couldn’t save. We knew we couldn’t awaken your silent soul in peace. So our hearts were placed beside you as slowly we walked away. The main link is missing from its chain. Although we are parted for a while, it’s written we shall meet again. Not lost to those who love you, not dead but just gone before. You live still in our memory and will forever more. Your devoted children Cloud family
