The Amissville Ladies Auxiliary held a Christmas dinner and party Tuesday evening at Boxwood Restaurant near Culpeper. Fourteen members and one guest attended. They exchanged gifts and held a social hour following the banquet.
Bobby Scott returned to his home Tuesday after a tour of duty in Vietnam. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Scott. Mrs. Sarah Latham was a dinner guest Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Peck in Spotsylvania who also had as their guests Mrs. C. C. Cockerill of Herndon and Mr. and Mrs. J. Dwight Peck. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart of Herndon were guests Saturday of Mrs. Latham and daughter Susan and Mrs. Sally Mann of Oxon Hill, Md. spent Sunday, with hei mother and sister.
