Mrs, Joan N. Bolyard was graduated from Potomac State College, Keyser, W. Va., with an Associate of Arts degree in Home Economics with a 3.5 overall average. Commencement exercises were held May 9, 1971. Mrs. Bolyard is a 1959 graduate of Rappahannock County High School. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers of Sperryville and is married to Larry G. Bolyard, a member of the faculty at Potomac State for seven years and a former teacher and coach in Rappahannock. They have three children, Glenn 9, Tracey 7, and Scott Allen 4 years old.
