The Rev. Park Dickerson has accepted a call to be pastor of the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire, effective July 1, 1971. He is a former pastor of New Salem Baptist Church near Culpeper and is married to the former Mary Norman Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, jr. of Washington, Va. Rev. Dickerson and his family have been making their home in Johnson, Vermont where he was pastor of the United Church of Johnson for the past six years. There are approximately 300 family units in the Hanover church and 35% of these are directly dependent upon Dartmouth College or Medical School for their income. The remaining 65% of the families represent local businesses, local professionals and employees of Mary Hitchcock Hospital and the U. S. Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory. Rev. and Mrs. Dickerson and children Ben and Lynn are visiting her parents this week.
