Mrs. Vennie Jenldns
A funeral service for Mrs. Vennie Ethel Jenkins of Washington, Va. was held Sunday at 4 p.m. in Washington Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Jerry Campbell. Burial was in Washington Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Jenkins, 88, widow of Ellis Herbert Jenkins, died September 3, 1971 in a Winchester nursing home, following a long illness. She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Jonas Mr. Atkins and Sally Ann Atkins. She was a member of Beech Spring Regular Baptist Church at Sperryville. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ester C. Woodward and Mrs. Sallie F. Atkins of Washington, Va.; two sons, Jonas R. Jenkins of Washington and Athey H. Jenkins ;of Augusta, Ga.; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were C. E. Giles, E. M. Jones, Ebb Atkins, Lee Atkins, Ned Settle and Cecil Atkins. Geest Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
M. O. Sisk
A funeral service for Marion Ogden Sisk of Culpeper will be held Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. at Geest Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. John McKay. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Sisk, 71, died Sept. 6,1971 al his residence in the Griffinsburf area. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late George Robert and Rowena Kilbj Sisk. He was a painter by trade
He is survived by one son George M. Sisk of Alexandria.
