Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke o( Culpeper spent Wednesday with the former’s mother Mrs. Guy Burke and were her visitors also on Labor Day. Mrs. J. M. Lilian] was a supper guest Friday and Saturday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke and son Richy of Culpeper Mrs. Alfred Milnes and Bob Folden ol Manassas were her Sunday luncheon guests.
Mr. and Mrs. William F. Mof felt, III of Richmond were week end guests of Judge and Mrs. W F. Moffett. Monday and Tuesday they spent sightseeing ir Washington, D. C. and Wednesday and Thursday they visited Mrs. Moffett’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Lynn E. Stauffer in Belle Haven.
Sam Snead of Savannah, Ga. spent from Thursday until Tuesday with his parents Judge and Mrs. Rayner Snead at Fairlea. Other week-end guests were Mr. and Mrs. Eric Adamson of Charlottesville and Miss Liz Bostick of Alexandria. Mrs. John Frizzell of Annandale was Sunday overnight guest. Mrs. B. M. Miller and Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett spent from Friday until Monday in Chesapeake and Norfolk. Mrs. Moffett visited her son and daughter-in-law Dr. and Mrs. Brooke Moffett and Mrs. Miller visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hodges and attended their 50th wedding anniversary party. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke on Blue Ridge Avenue were Mr. and Mrs. C. Cletus Burke of Front Royal. Mrs. Elizabeth Shenk of Luray is a visitor this week of relatives and friends in town and in Flint Hill.
