Matilda Mundy

Mrs. Matilda Birt Roy Mundy, 70, of Washington, died at her home early Tuesday morning, June 6, 1972. She was the wife of James Robert Mundy who survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Warren W. Roy of Philadelphia, Ernest W. Roy of Alexandria and James R. Mundy Jr. of Front Royal; five sisters, Mrs. Bert L. Aylor of Washington, Mrs. Annie Garnett, Washington, D. C., Mrs. Martha Siner, Berlin, N.J., Mrs. Esther Freeman and Mrs. Rose M. Scott, both of Philadelphia; and a brother, Edgar B. Roy of Washington, D.C.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from Promised Land Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Ausberry. Interment will be in the family cemetery near her home.

The body will be at Promised Land Baptist Church from 7 p.m. for viewing Friday night.
