CERTIFICATES are issued for minimum standard scores of 35 on each of the five tests and an average standard score of 45 on all tests. An applicant who fails to achieve a passing score on one or more of the tests may be retested if he can present evidence of additional study in the areas to be tested.
Persons interested in taking the test may apply at the office of the Superintendent of Schools of the County in which he resides. Applications will be accepted through September 6.
A fee of $5 is charged for the battery of five tests and $1 for each re-test. Applicants who apply must present their Social Security Card when making application for GED. □
