Superintendent Robert R. Jacobsen has announced that three Environmental Education Workshops will be conducted for school teachers. They will be presented October 6, 7, and 13 at the Byrd Visitor Center, Big Meadows.
These workshops present guidelines to teachers on such topics as how to incorporate environmental education into their existing subjects, and how to conduct an outdoor classroom. “These techniques can bring relevance to any subject for the student,”
