SaUAD NOTES
September 21 Mrs. Bernard Stringfellow was taken to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton by Amissville Rescue Squad. On the 29th Mrs. Evelyn Harrison was taken to that hospital. The Amissville unit was called to a traffic crash scene Sunday but service was not needed.
October 1, Linwood Baker was taken from home to Fauquier Hospital and on the third was transferred to Winchester Memorial Hospital. Amissville Fire Company responded to the home of Ivar Jacobs October 2 to a fire caused by an oil stove.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad on Thursday took Mrs. Nelson Nethers from her home near Washington to Fauquier Hospital.
Both Flint Hill and Washington fire companies reported to a fire Tuesday at the property of Col. Parson at Washington where a guest cottage burned.
