tnd 13. The Rappahannock finishers were, in order, Charles Thomas (a new course record) Bill Taylor, Tom Taylor, John Summers, Jerry Thomas, Ronnie Nicholson, Bobby Tltchenell, Andy Nichols, and Morris Donaldson. The final score was 16-43 Rappahannock.

The low score wins in cross country and a team’s score consists of the total of the places of its first five runners. Perfect score is 15. Rappahannock missed it by one point.

Jerry Thomas ran unofficially and placed an unofficial fifth, beating the entire Montevideo team. Montevideo’s fine squad has already defeated two other district teams which makes the feat most impressive.
