Miss Carroll Williams, a retired teacher who lives at Washington, Va., attended the association meeting. She said, “The colorful exhibits added an interesting touch to the day’s activities.” Her display was of her homemade crab apple jelly of which she was justly proud.
“There was so much beauty inside, I don’t think anyone realized how hard it was raining outside on the damp, foggy day,” said Miss Williams. □
