YOU CAN SEE, hear, talk with the famous conservative columnist and commentator, James J. Kilpatrick, Monday evening at 8 p.m., November 13, at the Rappahannock Library in Washington. Of course, his subject will be “The Election.”
Jack Kilpatrick, 20-years editor in chief of the Richmond News Leader, now calls Rappahannock County his home base, from which he sends out his syndicated column to 260 great and small newspapers across the United States.
He is not only a favorite neighbor of many who live in the Sperryville-Woodville area of our county, he is a favorite commentator of all of Rappahannock and adjacent counties.
Currently we see Kilpatrick on CBS’s “60 minutes” program, CBS radio and TV show, “Spectrum” on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” and WTOP’s 6 o’clock evening news.
THE RAPPAHANNOCK Library rejoices in being able, through Mr. Kilpatrick’s generosity, to offer admission-free to our county and neighbors a vastly interesting and timely evening of comment and discussion on the election.

Kilpatrick’s record of having attended all but two of the Republican and,Democratic conventions since 1948 means thaCjye shall have a rare face-to-face treat of political sophistication and knowledge. The Rappahannock Library invites everyone to the November 13 meeting. Coffee will be served at 7:30 p.m. □
