Mrs. Kite
A funeral service for Mrs. Mary Isa Kite of Culpeper was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Alum Spring Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Ellis and assisted by the Rev. Douglas Kanney. Burial was in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Kite, 91, widow of John Franklin Kite, died October 29, 1972 at her residence. She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Peter C. Smith and the late Sarah Bruce Smith of Viewtown.
She is survived by one son, W. Arthur Kite of Culpeper; two daughters, Mrs. C. A. Coons of Gordonsville and Miss Gladys Kite of Culpeper; four grandsons and six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Elmer T. Jenkins of Viewtown. □
Mrs. Brown
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hopewell Baptist Church at Sperryville for Pennie McKay Brown, 53, of Woodville. The Rev. U. S. Brokenburr of Washington, D. C. conducted the service. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died October 28, 1972 at her home. She is survived by her husband, David Brown, five sisters and three brothers.
A native of Erwin, N.C. she had lived in Woodville for three years. □
C.M. Green
Claude Marvin Green of Warrenton died Tuesday, October *24, 1972 at Fauquier Hospital. He was a native of Amiss ville, Rappahannock County.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lula B. Green; a son, John Marvin Green of Warrenton; three daughters, Mrs. Flossie By waters, Warrenton, Mrs. Grace H. Edwards, Fairfax and Mrs. Kathleen Hoffman of Delanco, N.J.
