At 5:3U a.m. on ucioDer 27 three miles east of Washington on Route 211 Harry Edward Woodward of Luray struck and killed a deer. Damage to the 72 Chevrolet panel truck he was driving was set at $300.

Thomas Kilmer Martin of Stanley in a 70 Chevrolet station wagon slowed as he approached the deer crash and was struck in the rear by a 70 Ford Mustang operated by Thomas Clayton Lewis of Sperryville. Damage to the Martin vehicle was estimated at $75 and at $150 to Lewis.

William John Keim of Amiss ville ran off the right side of Route 647 east of Flint Hill Saturday night in his 67 Buick, tearing down three panels of fence owned by Charles Bowling. Damage to the car was set at $600. . These accidents were investigated by Trooper W. A. Buntin.
