The Ring Dance Friday night was deemed a huge success by the students who came. Thanks to the crazy commercials on the intercom by the Seniors they were really inspired and the attendance was high. Everyone seemed pleased with the band and especially the song, “Tighten Up.”
The seniors were delighted with the generosity of Miss Annie Miller Almond, Mrs. W.M. Fletcher, Mrs. Eileen Day, Mrs. A. T. Cannon and Elmer Atkins for furnishing food and drinks for the dance.
Chaperoning the event were school principal Dennis Wingfield, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood, William Harrison, Roger Flinchum, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mr. and Mrs. B. G. Titchenell, Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Pomeroy, and Deputy Everett
