SUPERVISOR Herbert Foster said he didn’t like a $7,000 item marked “Board of Supervisors.
“I think you ought to break that down,” Foster said.
“Why , aren’t you getting that much money?” laughed Newbill Miller.
Board members are paid $400, and Jones said the item would be broken down in the final budget draft.
THE BOARD ordered published for a public hearing in June an ordinance providing for control of vicious dogs in the county. The ordinance was the outgrowth of an attack on a man walking in the road near Flint Hill by a dog owned by a Flint Hill man.
The Board also moved to make playing bingo legal for rescue and fire fighting
