Flint Hill Fire Company responded to a brush fire Tuesday at the property of L.E. Lum.
Amissville Rescue Squad took Joe Bowers to Fauquier Hospital from Cross Creek on March 12. The 17th, Mrs. Evelyn Harrison was taken from home to the Fauquier Hospital. March 20 Mrs. Chaney was taken to the same facility with a possible stroke. Mrs. Evelyn Harrison was taken again March 24 to Fauquier Hospital.
Amissville Fire Company responded to a brush fire March 15 at the Aubrey Curtis property and on the 19th went to a house fire at Arthur Tracey’s in Jeffersonton. March 20 they were on standby at a field burning as a public service. A false alarm was turned in to this unit on March 23.□
