Lisa and Maureen Day were in second place with 11 points each. Many of the Pantherettes had the best scores of the season at Friday’s meet.
Connie DelGrosso, a freshman, showed much improvement and promise in the 880 and the hurdles taking a second and a fourth, respectively, and Nina Metzinger, also a freshman, is looking good in the discus with a throw of 81 feet 10 inches.□
