BEGINNING May 1, Virginia Telephone & Telegraph Company customers found the company had a new name and a “new look.”

Virginia Telephone & Telegraph Company changed its name to Central Telephone Company of Virginia. Vice President and Division Manager Dallas Reid said the company will retain the blue “C” as the company’s symbol.
