THE ANNUAL summer conclave of the Order of the Arrow was held during the weekend at Camp Rock Enon at Gore, Va. The local Shenshawpotoo Lodge, which celebrated its 30th anniversary, held an election of officers. Other activities included the induction of 34 new Ordeal members, honoring 6 men with the Vigil honor and rendering more then 650 manhours of service to the camp.
Ronnie Kelly of Amissville was elected treasurer of the lodge and Bobby Crist of Luray was named chief of the Shenrapawa District which included Rappahannock, Page, Warren and Shenandoah counties.
The Vigil Honor, the highest distinction that can be given by the local lodge for outstanding service, was conferred upon the Rev. B. G. Titchenell of Woodville. This high mark of distinction and recognition is reserved for those Scouts, Explorers and
