THE FOURTH annual membership meeting of the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will be held Friday, September 6, beginning at 8 p.m. at the county courthouse in Washington. All present members and persons wishing to join or to find out more about the league are invited to attend.
Gerald McCarthy, Chairman of the Virginia Council on the Environment, will give a report on the State of Virginia’s Environment. McCarthy served for four years prior to assuming his present position as executive director of the Governor’s Council on the Environment.
