A group of girls of Chester G&p Baptist Church had a swimming party Saturday at South Wales Recreation Center. TTiose attending were Cathy and Wendy Jenkins, Norma Jean Williams, Terry Leake, Pam Alley, Raye Rector, Diane and Cindy Williams, Roxy and Sherri Wines, Carol Ann Burke, Carol, Judy, Melanie, and Kim Burke. Chaperones were Mrs. Carolyn Leake, Mrs. Jessie Wines and Mrs. Frances Rudacille.
Mrs. S. M. Shelton and nephew, Philip Nielsen, returned Friday from a tenday trip to Cape May, N.J. where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Moore.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Heflin were Sunday dinner guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Heflin in Warrenton.
Mrs. Bennie Atkins and children Mike and Donna are spending this week in Roanoke, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Atkins.
