SELECTION of Miss Virginia Farm Bureau 1975 and a fashion show will be among the opening activities of Virginia Farm Bureau’s 49th annual convention in Roanoke, December 8 - 10. Miss VFB will be chosen from 28 representatives of county Farm Bureaus Sunday evening during a special reception at Hotel Roanoke, convention headquarters.
The girls were chosen by their county Farm Bureaus on the basis of a speech titled “What I Like About Farm Life,” poise and personality. These are the same requirements for state competition. After announcement of the winner, Miss Virginia Farm Bureau will then present he'r speech to convention delegates.
Last year’s winner was Carol Smith of Augusta County. Carol will be on hand to congratulate her successor. Grand prize for
