The Rappahannock - Rapidan Community Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services Board has appointed Dr. William H. Young, Jr. as medical director for its programs. This appointment was effective November 1.
Dr. Young, who received his B.S. degree from Harvard and his M.D. degree from the University of Michigan, will devote his time to services in the three mental health clinics operated by the Chapter 10 Board. These clinics are located in Orange, Culpeper, and Warrenton. Dr. Young previously maintained a private psychiatric practice in Alexandria, and over the past several years has done extensive consultation with the juvenile court system and local mental health clinics.
