Students are back in the groove again after a nice (but as usual, seemingly too short) Thanksgiving vacation and moving right along into the third six weeks of school. Report cards were given out Tuesday (a post Thanksgiving present!). Students were reminded during Wednesday’s Thanksgiving assembly of some of the things they might be thankful for this year by none other than dear old Snoopy (Jeff Foster in his role from “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”) who sang and danced his way through a list of things he considered worth being most thankful for. Scriptures and devotions were led by one of our English teachers, Miss Paula Piccard.
Boy’s basketball season was welcomed in with a great show of support at a pep rally held sixth period Tuesday (the day of the first game.) The support and enthusiasm from the student body was great! The first game (Tuesday night) was away, at Stone-i wall Jackson High School, and though neither team brought home a victory both the Junior varsity
