H.S. Gilkey. Jr.
Hubert Stanley Gilkey, Jr., 58, died at his home at Chester Gap on Monday, December 2, 1974.
Funeral services are set for Thursday, December 5, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal with the Rev. Roy Mathena officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Gilkey was born March 20, 1916, in Front Royal, a son of Hubert S. Gilkey, Sr. and Clara Beard Gilkey. He is survived by his wife, Nellis Cameron Gilkey; one son, Hubert S. Gilkey, IU, of Chester Gap; two sisters, Juanita Gilkey Grimes and Margurite Gilkey Franz of Orange, California; and three grandchildren.
