THE spring fund crusade of the Rappahannock Unit, American Cancer Society was the main item on the agenda of Tuesday’s meeting held at the courthouse in Washington. The crusade goal for 1975 is $2300, according to Mrs. Robert Anderson, president of the local chapter.
The Rappahannock goal for 74 was $2000. The final tally for the crusade was $2307.10, so the higher goal was suggested by the state directors. This was accepted with the stipulation injected by Ian Pryde, a local director, that the goal should remain that and not be raised another year.
