ACCORDING to T.R. Taylor, Chairman, Rappahannock County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee (ASC), a 1975 National Feed Grain Allotment of 89 million acres—the same as for 1974—was announced November 27 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The allotment represents the number of harvested acres of feed grains, based on the estimated National average yield, needed to produce the quantity of feed grains (less imports) that will be used domestically and for export during the 1975-76 marketing year.
