Investigation in continuing by Augusta County Sheriff’s Department in the death of Forester Evan L. Sharp, 34, a sub-district forester for Rappahannock, Madison and Greene counties, died last Monday while hunting in the George Washington National Forest with friend and co-worker Donald Lee Parrott of Quinque.
His body was not discovered until last Wednesday morning on Elliot’s Knob at North Mountain in Augusta County about 1 3/4 miles from his truck. Sharp had apparently been shot by another hunter. A single shot from a high-powered rifle entered through the abdominal area
