NORTON reported that attendance in the schools for December of 75 was 2% higher than that of a year before.
L.M. Carter, on behalf of the Rappahannock County Education Association, presented the Board a proposed salary and fringe benefit package for 1976-77 which was discussed'' briefly.' Carter asked that the recommendations be considered when the next budget is prepared.
Fringe benefits were health insurance, life insurance and parting for physical examinations which is required.
T.A. Fleetwood, Assistant Superitendent, discussed the SRA Test results and a summary showed Rappahannock students tend to rank below the national average in ability. Achievement is also below the national average but is generally equal to or above their ability level.
