Mr. and Mrs.-James Lilly, Jim and Angela were guests of Mr. Lilly’s mother, Mrs. Oliver Lilly of Bunker Hill, W. Va., Friday and Saturday.
Mrs. Alma Young of Winchester was a visitor in the James E. Williams’ home Sunday, as was Mrs. Williams’ brother, Andrew Weaver of Front Royal.
The youth group of the Chester Gap Baptist Mission had a banquet in the Virginia Gentleman Restaurant Saturday evening in Front Royal with thirty youth attending. Henry Utz of Fort Valley, a lay minister of Green Mountain Camp, was special speaker. He was accompanied by Mrs. Utz and their five daughters who furnished vocal numbers for the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Burke, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake, and Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Rudacille were chaperons.
