He was born in Kappanannocn County, the son of the late Amon Ashby and Nora S. Berry Jenkins. He was a Carpenter. He served with the Armed Forces during World War II and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jenkins of Dundalk, Md.; one son, Jackie Jenkins'of Quebec, Canada; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Jenkins of Catonsville, Md.; two brothers, R.B. Jenkins and Jerry W.
