lie budgets. It’s a time for caution, and for conservative financial planning. The socalled “liberals” who want to take a bigger bite out of everybody through taxes to finance pay raises for public employes and ever bigger pubT lie budgets should realize that the wherewithal for these things would come out of wallets that have also been thinned by inflation and harder times. The taxpayer is no fountain of gold, and we hope the legislature joins the Governor in recognizing this.
