Piedmont is operating at 85% capacity and Rappahannock and Madison are increasing enrollment there. It is difficult for rural counties to provide an. adequate program in all areas of exceptionality in special education to meet the requirements of the Standards of Quality of the State, so it i& necessary to continue participation with Piedmont, according to the summation.
Bids have been received for the construction of foundations for the modular classrooms to be erected for the reading program. The low bid made by Clark and Darner of $1450 was accepted. Two others had been given, one for $1887 and the other in the amount of $1658.
