Amissville Fire Department responded April 4 and April 19 to a brush fire on Route 642 but service was not used. Tuesday, April 20 this unit responded to a’fire at Pickett’s Sawmill which burned the power unit, mill enclosure, some lumber and wood.D
BIRTHDAY CAMPOUT
Mr. and Mrs. Anthony DelGrosso of Flint Hill entertained at a campout Thursday to celebrate Mike DelGrosso’s birthday. Guests included Joe Jenkins, Bobby Baines, John Freeman, Marc Streagle, Jamie, Lukie and Carol Skowronski and Connie, Anita and Risa DelGrosso.
Church restoration
Mav 6, at 8 p.m. EOT there will be a second meeting of all persons and members interested in the restoration of Mt. Salem Baptist Church, at the Washington Baptist Church. Everyone is needed to insure the success of the restoration, said a committee member.
