CHAPTER 18. TURKEY.
Amend Regulation R18-1 to read as follows:
Except as otherwise specifically provided in the regulations appearing in this chapter, it shall be lawful to hunt turkeys from the second Monday in November and for twenty-three consecutive bunting days following.
Adopt a new regulation to be numbered R18-4 as follows:
Except as otherwise specifically provided in the regulations appearing in this chapter, the bag limit for hunting turkeys shall be one a day, two a license year, one of which may be a hen during the fall season.
Adopt a new regulation to be numbered R18-5 as follows:
The bag limit for hunting turkeys on all military reservations in the State of Virginia shall be one a day, and three a license year, one of which may be a hen in the fall season; provided that it shall be lawful to hunt turkeys of either sex on the U. S. Marine Corps Base, Quantico, and Fort A. P. Hill by special permit on such days as the Commission may prescribe.
Adopt a new regulation to be numbered R18-6.1 as follows:
Immediately upon killing a turkey, any person exempt from license requirement as prescribed in S 29-52 of the Code of Virginia, or issued a complimentary license as prescribed in S 29-80 or the holder of a permanent license issued pursuant to S 29-52 (3) shall present the carcass of his kill to an authorized check - ing station or to any appropriate representative of the Commission in the county or adjoining county in which the turkey was killed. At such time, the person shall be given an official game tag furnished by the Commission, which tag shall be securely attached to the carcass.
FALCONRY TO adopt a new chapter to be numbered
CHAPTER 18.1. Falconry consisting of Regulations numbered R18.1-1 through R18 .1-9, providing that:
(1) A falconry permit shall not be isssued until an applicant has completed an application form provided by the Commission, answered correctly at least eighty percent of the questions on a supervised examination, and has facilities and equipment for holding and handling
